Buddhist temple at Baotou

Baotou is a prefecture and a city in the centre of the district Inner Mongolia. Baotou is located on the northern bank of the Huang He, the Yellow River, on its great bend (hetao), on an elevation of about 1,000 meters.

The city is the biggest city in the district.

In the district are many Buddhist temples, and in the vicinity of Baotou are remains of the Great Wall.
